We dined in the restaurant for lunch on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 1230pm. The service we received was poor. From the time we entered, the waitress did not bother to ask if there are any children, which we had one 2 yr. old child (she gave us 4 adult menus). We waited 10-15 minutes for our waitress to take our order. What made it worse is at the time she finally came, I requested for a child's menu and she gave the child's menu, however she didn't bother to ask if we were ready. She left & it took a while for her to return. The table across from us came in after us & their orders were taken from another waitress. This is poor customer service! Otherwise, the food was great. Another waitress came to serve the food, but she didn't look to happy. She seemed tired or irritated. In addition, our waitress only came once to our table & didn't bother to ask ask for refills on our glasses of water.
I've dined in other Zippy's restaurant, however, I was surprised with the service that was given that day. In addition, 2 out of the 3 waitresses that assisted us that day, did not at least have a smile on their face.
The restaurant was not that full (still had several open tables). Although it was just lunch, I would think the waitresses would not look irritated & tired. They should've just put a smile on their face, especially if they're working with customers directly.
I hope this will be addressed to all the waiters & waitresses at the Dillingham Zippy's because dining in a restaurant should always be friendly & stress free atmosphere.
Thank you!
