This Jaipayungton family owned and operated restaurant is one of three started by Chef Thipphawan (Wan) who owned and operated a 24-hour Thai restaurant in Thailand for five years and then move to the USA 20 years ago. She had been a well known chef in the DC Metro area for 17 years before she decided to open her own restaurant with her daughter, Paranee, in the small town of Culpeper. After three years of success at Thai Culpeper Restaurant we decided to expand our authentic Thai cooking to Winchester. The first Thai Winchester Restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the historic Old Town Mall, Winchester, Virginia. Thai Winchester is a full service restaurant with patio seating and full bar featuring authentic Thai cuisine. After three years with fabulous reviews from our customers, we opened Thai Win II at Apple Blossom Corners. Our diverse and flavorful menu has something for everyone, from mild to hot, vegetarian or not. One of the keys to the preparation of our wonderful food is the use of fresh herbs and spices such as lemon grass, basil, mint, galanga, cilantro and kaffir lime leaves, and high quality vegetable oil. We cook the food fresh to order, as mild or spicy as you like, with no MSG added.
