Texas Roadhouse

My family and I went there last evening for dinner. Everyone's food was passable but mine. I ordered the 10 ounce prime rib. I do not know for sure what meat was on my plate, but it was NOT prime rib. It was less than 1/2 inch thick. It didn't really look like prime rib. From the first bite something was not right. I thought is was bacon wrapped, which would be odd enough, but it tasted more like ham than beef. I gave a sample to both of my sons and one daughter-in-law and they agreed it tasted like ham cooked in bacon grease.

Since it took 30 minutes to get our meals to our table, I chose not to attempt to send it back...even if I could have gotten the server's attention. Admittedly the restaurant was busy. I chose to just not eat it and forget the incident. Unfortunately, one of my son's left the table, found the manager and told her of my bad food. By then I had sent the server away with my credit card. Amazing how they know to show up for money. The manager appeared at our table and said she heard I was not happy with my food and offered to make me another one to go. Right! Just what I wanted. I didn't like the first one, it took 30 minutes to be served, and she wanted me to hang around for more bad food to take home. Be ware of the prime rib at Texas Roadhouse 281.
