I have just moved into a new neighborhood, close to Tam's. This would be my first experience with them. I ordered this meal for delivery, shortly after 8pm. The gal on the phone called me back because she had written down a number on my card incorrectly. She told me the wait would be 30 minutes, despite me living only a half a mile away. I figured it might be a little less time, but 30 or even 40 minutes would be a reasonable wait. I waited patiently for 45 minutes and gave them a call. No answer. I waited another ten minutes, called again, and no answer. At an hour and thirty minutes I decided to go by and pick up my order. To my surprise, they were closed, and not a hint of a soul was there. They had decided to ditch me, and didn't have the decency to even call me. So I ended up madder than hell, waiting an hour and a half to find out they had left me in the lurch. This is perhaps the most disrespectfully I have ever been treated by a restaurant. I decided to find out who the owner was, so I could let him know how his employees act. After visiting the state comptroller's website, it appears that they do not have a certificate filing for tax with the state of Texas. I will be going out of my way to inform every one in my neighborhood to avoid Tam's Egg Roll.
