Like a lot of people in the summer we came with our family to Florida to stay on the beach. What we found was a new home away from home.
Slightly less than a block from our hotel was Slidders on the Beach. Perfect spot for a families vacation to revolve around. They had everything. Music, great patio terrace with activities for the kids, and the servers couldn't be more helpful and pleasant.
There is one thing missing here, grilled and healthy dining options. Seafood was all fried or blackened. They need to consider the rest of their clientel.
I'll return next year. One of the best locations on Amelia Island!
