Exceptional food. I particularly like their beef/steak salad, shrimp rolls stuffed with ground chicken, thai chicken wings, thai siomai, beef curry puff pastry, and chicken sate for starters. Appetizers are served with different sauces making the food more delicious and flavorful.
For the main dishes, I recommend their Pad thai, vegetable fried rice, and any meat dish cooked with curry, tamarind, ginger or their special thai sauce.
The restaurant is small but looks nice (modern/thai look and feel)and is clean. The atmosphere is friendly the restaurant owner ensures you are enjoying the food and your experience. Location is just OK. However, everything I have ordered in this place is super delicious. Everything is meticulously prepared (home-made) and the price is right. I keep on going back to this place.
I have been to many Thai restaurants including in NYC, Red Bank, Princeton, D.C., Maryland and even abroad but I think that when it comes to taste River Thai is the best in the East Brunswick / Old Bridge / Sayerville / Spotswood / Pricenton / and Red Bank area.
