Red Rooster Cafe

I was skeptical when my Danvillian mother suggested we eat at the Red Rooster Cafe, but OH..MY..GOODNESS what a TREAT this was! I had the buffet/salad bar which was teeming with the BEST home-cooked deliciousness that I've ever tasted, and I've tasted a LOT of home-cooked foods! From the fried catfish to the pinto beans and fried cornbread, right down to the warm fudge cake, everything was A+++++! I loved it so much, in fact, that we went back the very next day for the breakfast bar. Again, everything was wonderful! They even had an old favorite of mine on the bar...fried bologna! Definately give this place a try! It's very reasonably priced (7.99 for all-you-can-eat dinner buffet and salad bar) and a fun, country atmosphere as well! I cannot imagine you would ever be disappointed in this place!
