Great food and lovely people. My wife and I went there before we were married. Now, we bring in our daughter Emma and still love the place. Their spicy avocado sashimi is awesome and a must try. They also have really good lunch specials. Yesterday I had seaweed salid, vegetable tempura, tuna sashimi and salmon sashimi which also came with miso soup. I had a green tea and my total with tip was less than 16 bucks! I have lived in the valley and san francisco all my life and this is the only sushi restaurant I recommend in Arizona.

Mikado Sushi serves a variety of appetizers, sushi and entrees in pleasant, simple surroundings. I have thoroughly enjoyed every dish I have tried. The ginger salmon is delicately melting. The Udon is tasty and homely. The sushi is fresh and light. I particularly enjoyed the chilled soba noodles. I have friends who lived in Japan for over ten years and they verify the authenticity of the tastes. The servers are quick and attentive with a warm friendliness of manner. All in all I thoroughly recommend Mikado.
