McDonald's

We went to the McDonald's location this morning:. We placed an order in the drive- thru at 10:50 a.m. for three bacon, egg and cheese Mcgriddles and two hash browns. After paying, we sat in the drive thru one vehicle away from the pick-up window for 10 minutes before reaching the pick-up window....then upon sitting at the pick-up window two more minutes a female came to the window and asked me to pull forward about 20 feet as they were waiting on bacon and hash browns. REALLY.....13 minutes after the order was placed we are told items in the order are not even prepared and the sad part was there was no one at the counter awaiting service or food but the entire drive-thru had now backed up to the service road entrance. This was the exact opposite of fast food and a prime example of poor customer service. If nothing else as a customer, we should have been told of the shortage and given an option to proceed with the items ordered, make another item selection or even go elsewhere. The topper was when our food was brought out ...the female did not even apologize for the delay.
