I have been eating at Howards for the past 40 years. Howards Chicken is the best on earth. Very safe, as most everyone who goes in there is an LAPD Officer. Also lots of food and very very cheap for what you get. I now am retired from LAPD and live in San Diego County, but still go to Howards everytime I go to LA. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
