It is hard to find good BBQ in Atlanta. So when people raved about Heirloom BBQ, I had to make my way to Akers Mill. The seasoning/flavor could be there but unable to taste it due to the ribs tasting like the slab was marinated in lighter fluid. According to the site, they use multiple types of wood. I guess the gases given off when the wood burns permeates the meat. I thought it was a fluke, but I purchased ribs there 3 times and each time same taste. My family refuses to eat it. I have only had the ribs--don't recommend them. Maybe the other meat isn't as bad.
