Emmy's Time Out Tavern

Had dinner at Emmy's TOT in DeLand with our son Kelly last night. He could not believe I was taking him to this old bar and it was a good half hour ride. Well he is a believer. This is a most outstanding restaurant if you like German food. Prime rib is $15.00 and $20.00. All kinds of German entrees to excite your appetite. Potato pancakes are yummy. (Close second to Bad Dave's!!) Well worth the trip if you are in Orlando, Daytona, or New Smyrna. She is only open Wed. to Sun. and hours vary. See her facebook page cause you may want to call to find out when she is open. We got there at 5 (opening) and there were 3 other tables waiting to be seated. By the time we left there were no tables left so the waiting people were glad to see us leave. Note that we are from PA!
