Darryl's Wood Fired Grill

I had the worst experience that I have ever had at your restaurant. After making reservations for 17 youth and adults on a youth trip, we were told when we arived that we would be required to pay on 1 check or leave their restaurant. We were told that seperate checks were not allowed because it would take at least 30 min. and would take away form the other customers. (There were only 2 customers in the restaurant other than us.) We took this opertunity to try something new. Smokey Bones BBQ Restaurant was just next door. We went in to see quite a large number of customers in their restaurant and asked if we could eat and pay with seperate checks. The said of course and seated us within 5 min. We had the opertunity to watch Darryl's from the window, during our excellent dining experiance at Smokey Bones BBQ Restaurant, and watched 2 other customers enter Darryl's. When our wonderful meal was over we decided to time our waiter on the checks with out telling him. (Remember Darryl's was going to take at least 30 min.) It took our excellent Smokey Bones BBQ Restaurant waiter 4 min. to print and pass out 15 bills. When we were ready to pay. It took him 12 min. to collect, make change run credit cards and return them to us. The total bill was over $300.00. Your loss Darryl's! By the way it took the excellent waiter at Smokey Bones BBQ Restaurant 16 min. to do the seperate checks (at least 14 min faster the Darryl's manager said that it would take.) I fogot to mention that after taking up our money and before returning with our change, he stoped to fill up 3 glasses at another table. Amazing the difference, wouldn't you say.
