Very disappointed. My friend and I split a pizza and we got "special permission" to get half specialty and half a cheese pizza. Her half was as ordered, but mine was baked crust with cheese and no pizza sauce. It took a long time and we were on our way to a play, so there was no time to order a new menu item. My friend suggested bringing marinara sauce to dip this "cheese bread" into. The sauce was a little spicy, so was not a good alternative.
I told the waitress I wasn't happy and that I wasn't going to pay for my half.
She then told me that the cook (manager?) was going to call the police, as he already took down my license plate number. I asked to talk with him, but he wouldn't come out of the kitchen. I asked her who was cooking and she pointed to the license on the wall which read, "John Joseph Ciccione." I don't know if it was the owner or the son, but he was horribly unprofessional and insulting.
Bottom line is if you don't get what you order at Ciccione's and don't feel you should have to pay for unsatisfactory food, they will threaten to call the police, instead of adjusting the bill. Hmmm...
