Beaver Creek Tavern

Bacon's Tavern no longer exists. NOW it's the Beaver Creek Tavern. Owned by various members of a large local family, the diversity gives the place a special ambiance. Like the decor (understand one of the sisters involved is an interior decorator) and the desserts (another sister - apparently from San Francisco and not always around, but she sure can bake - and her chocolate mouse is to die for), but generally I just like the feel of the place - like it belongs to and for the community.
