Wendy's Reviews

Last Monday my husband and I went to Wendy's on Airport. We dined in. The cashier took our order and she placed a tray on the counter which was directly next to the cash register and customers. Another customer begin to order and pay as we waited. Our fries were placed there 2 -3 minutes before the sandwiches arrived. The customer paying after us leaned over to pay. He coughed, he passed money and his family leaned in within inches of our fries. The cashier attempted to pull the trays back some, realizing that the man and his family were leaning in toward the food. The problem appeared to be no room on the counter. There was no where for the tray to go but right against the cash register and right within breathing space of the next customer. This is very unsanitary. The food should be placed behind the register , or a different procedure should be in place. Also, the ketchup is directly next to the only garbage cans in the restaurant. As people are getting ketchup , others are throwing food and trash away. The food was good but the experience was anything but appetizing. I sincerely hope they look at their current procedures and take measures to make efforts to provide a cleaner and safer food experience.
