This morning I came to your store. No one was at the front counter. The woman handling drive thru saw me, ignored me called to the back for âShiela.â The fat dumpy grill cook kept staring at me but said nothing. He kept opening a low boy door and played with a plastic water bottle. I had to endure this for 5 minutes. Finally âShielaâ came up front. By this time I was annoyed and complained that she needed to tell her workers to acknowledge customers and they should not just stand there and stare at them. This garnered the attention of the fat dumpy âgrill cookâ who proceeded to stare at me. I complained to âShielaâ that the fat dumpy grill cook was continuing to stare at me. She said he was âherâgrill cook and had to cook food. I said that staring at me isnât going to cook the food. Shiela never stopped the fat dumpy grill cook from staring at me. I didnât want the fat dumpy grill cook to prepare my food. A customer became rude and began talking to me when I informed Shiela that I was going to make a complaint. He called me an idiot and made threats. Is this what you call fast, friendly service with courtesy and respect? Or is your McDonalds just a dumping ground for otherwise non-employable people? Donât you train them anything? Or are you just happy they show up for work? Do you heavily rely on the assumption that these conditions are within the customersâ tolerance level? The irate customer behind me will continue to be your customer. You deserve him. The typical McDonalds customer include irate customers like the one I met this morning -- along with the homeless, prostitutes, mentally ill, obnoxious teens, gang bangers and drug dealers. As for me (the idiot), I will spend my money elsewhere. By doing so, I will join the ranks of families, working people, educated people and courteous people that similarly find your restaurant conditions deplorable.
