I ordered a cake for my son's birthday party and when we went to pick up the cake they instructed the cake was almost ready and we waited. When it came out, the cake was fresh (which is a plus) but for the type of cake it was, a two tiered cake with heavy icing, it needed to be cooled in order for it not to fall apart.
