5 stars and more. City Cafe is some of the best southern cooking you will ever have. Each weekday you start with a choice of up to 5 entrees and 10 vegetables. Cornbread and rolls are provided with the meal. The iced tea is fresh and wonderful. From 1030 a.m. until 330 p.m. there is a line about 30 feet long of people waiting to eat lunch. The portions are generous, the servers friendly and quick. The quicker you eat and leave the more tips they make. Plus nobody waits over 15 minutes to eat. Patrons are considerate of those waiting. After all they were waiting in line themselves. I was over there with my sister one day and she ran into a friend. The friend said are ya'll waiting on a table? I wanted to say Nope, just sitting here watching people eat, here's your sign!
