After being evacuated from New Orleans, we went to Mobile. To reward ourselves for surviving a rough day, we chose what we thought was the nicest place in town. Like so many restaurants out there, this place had all the appearances of class but poorly prepared food. The Santa Fe Chipotle Pork was center cut pork with supermarket barbecue sauce, very expensive and very mediocre. But the combination seafood with linguini was the worst. The seafood was so dried out, it must have been in the freezer for months. The red sauce was tasteless. We eat out at nice places a lot. We know good food. This place was like many out there high prices, lots of atmosphere, and a big plate of disappointment.
The next night we went to the roof top place at the Holiday Inn. Honestly, both of our dishes were much better! Don't waist your money on Cafe 615.
