I went into the Burger King located at 955 East Spring Street in Monroe, GA a few weeks ago. When I went in, no one was at the front counter except a young woman leaning on the corner. A young black man wearing a manager's shirt looked up at me from the fry station and scowled then turned around and ignored me completely. The manager attending the drive through, Teece, who I took to be in charge walked past me to talk to the young lady leaning on the counter. The young lady turned out to be another employee off the clock. She engaged in a conversation with her, got her a drink, filled a drive through order all the while ignoring me completely and Bitching about being short staff and having to do it all herself. She walked past me 3 times without even acknowledging that I existed other than a quick sideways glance before she continued the conversation with the off duty employee. I never did get acknowledged, spoken to or had my order taken. I left after standing at the front counter for over 10 minutes. Had that been a member of my staff they'd be standing in the unemployment line wishing they had better customer service skills and maybe some manners! Train your Employees beginning with Management because the rest of the staff are only as good as their leaders. It's too bad this location is so poorly run as it is in a great location with high traffic from WalMart and surrounding major intersections. If you want burgers made fresh and served quickly don't go to this location, try the new Arby's next door or the McDonald's across the street.
