My wife and I went to the restaurant based on a recommendation from a co-worker. We called ahead and attempted to make a reservation for my 40th birthday. The hostess informed us that they did not accept reservations for any less than 10 people. However, she assured us that if we got there at around 6pm, that there would be no problem seating us quickly.

We arrived at 6pm and the place was packed. Upon checking in with the hostess, she informed us that there was a 1 hr 15 min wait for a table. No problem, we squeezed throught the crowd and went to the bar and ordered a few drinks. About 45 minutes later we went to check how things were progressing and the hostess rudely informed us that she was, quote
