Chili's Grill & Bar - Corporate Office Review. 6820 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX

Today I just left your ristorante without ordering anything! I can not eat large portions of food due to a surgery . I just asked if I could order a lunch portion. Our waiter went back to ask the manager. Unfortunately our waiter had the dreaded task of informing me the manager said no! My party got up and left. I have never been turned down asking this question . Everyone accept chilis has told me that ordering would be fine but I had to pay a little more. I have always said no problem and was happy they could accommodate me. The manager at this Chilis should be FIRED!!!! I nor anyone else that was with will NEVER eat at any Chilis . DO NOT CONTACT me or send some gift card or anything!!! It will immediately go in the trash!! I am not threatening you I never say what I don't mean. I was at Acworth-Chilis 3339 Cobb Parkway. Acworth Georgia. Please know that the waiter should not be blamed for he did NOTHING wrong. The manager was a complete***** he is the one that needs reprimanded !!! Your manager just lost a lot of customer! My husband works for a large company and he sets up a lot of dinner meetings. He will never never again make arrangements to go to Chilis!

Chili's Grill & Bar - Corporate Office Review. 6820 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX

Hello Chili’s corporate, my name is Rachel Alfaro. I have worked for Chili’s at the New town East location since the day it opened. I would like to begin with how much I have enjoyed my employment here. The team server assistant is the greatest concept since fried chicken. The whole set up is great and benefits the server’s there to always have an easy shift and opportunity to make great money. I’ve built friendships and just an overall love for the company in my months there. The food is awesome and the guest are even better. Since I have been working there I have established a huge regular cliental. If you talk to the host they will tell you how often people request to sit in my section not only for the good service but the genuine feeling of comfort and personality They get when they have Me as their waitress. Numerous GEM comments I have received just for the pride I take in my job and the smile that’s always on my face. I am generally a very happy and outgoing person and love talking to new people who have different views of life. Probably why I have been a waitress for six years.
Now to my main point. I was recently terminated, actually about 30 minutes ago. A little background information on the situation is I was written up by the general manager, Erenest Perez. The reason being was me smoking during a shift. My mom had just been declared dead not even two days earlier. I was having an extremely bad day and probably should not have been at work to begin with. With that being said, I understand being written up was policy and made it clear to Ernest that it would never happen again. Not even 4 days later I was smoking again out back with another employee. Ernest came out side and proceeded to ask what was going on. I let him know that I was clocked out and finished for the night. He was not happy about the situation because I was still in uniform. I said I am sorry I didn’t know I was not allowed to smoke in the back while I was waiting on my ride. He explained to me guest perception and I let him know I would go put on a jacket. He said ok and walked away. I then left for the night and returned the next day for my 4:30 shift. Clocked in and sat a few tables, swept the pass out , stocked the micros , ran food, and continued taking care of my tables before Ernest and Martin brought me back to the office. He asked me about the night before and told me I was not clocked out and in uniform and that I was fired. I know for a fact I clocked out before I went outside because of the write up I have received before, I did not want to get in any more trouble. Like I said before I love my job. I did not want to jeopardize it by any means. At this point I begged and pleaded with Ernest to give me another chance. I promised him that if I knew this would have been grounds for me being terminated I would have never done it. And that I had no other previous write ups, never called in, and always performed at 110 percent. That I would literally do whatever it took to convince him that I was truly sorry and that it would never happen again. I would do anything. He kept telling me no no no and that I should have known better. I cried my eyes out and then begged some more. He said I could apply at any chili’s and use him as a reference. Though I appreciate this. I personally feel that I was unjustly terminated and would love nothing more but to work at the chili’s Town East where I have put in all my hard work to acquire a regular cliental and good reputation with my fellow employees and management staff.
My point of this letter is to inform you guys of my view on the situation and also to let you know how much I care for this job. It’s my second home. I am only human and we all make mistakes. If you could find it in your heart to discuss this situation with your management staff and give me another chance. I am positive I can prove my worth and contribute to this company better than any other person out there. At least take the time to talk to other employees and management about me. I’m sure you will not be disappointed about what you hear. Also, if you have the time to call me my phone number is 214-723-1778.

Thank you so much,
Rachel Alfaro

Chili's Grill & Bar - Corporate Office Review. 6820 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX

I'm not sure what the Chili's handbook says about being a good restaurant but if embarrassing regulars and firing your best employees is part of your business plan, then the Plainville MA restaurant is top notch!
My husband and I have been regulars since they opened. We would always go Sundays and Thursday and very often on Tuesday. We always sat at the bar because of the service we received from Meg and Jess. We would barely be in the door when our drinks would be set down in front of us. It always felt good especially on Thursdays. The work week would be winding down and we knew we'd see the numerous other Thursday regulars that Meg and Jess brought in. It had a family feel to it. We'd spend $40 - $50 at each visit. We'd each have a couple of drinks and a meal. In the course of the night one of drinks would be discounted, because that's how you take care of regulars. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Meg and Jess got fired without warning because their tabs didn't "add up"! They were an asset to that store. Their reward is to be fired!
As far as the managing of the restaurant it was less than stellar. The food was inconsistent in quality and presentation. How do you run out of Captain Morgan? The most popular spiced rum and a customer favorite! Or pinot grigio or take out containers?
The whole staff was very friendly. They would walk by and greet us like friends. On the other hand JR never came around to chat up any of the regulars.
Many of the regulars have already decided not to go back. You not only fired two good employees, you lost many customers!

Chili's Grill & Bar - Corporate Office Review. 6820 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX

My family and I have frequented Chili's at least 2- 3 times a month and always have had great service and food at the Auburn, AL location on Opelika-Auburn Rd. but the last two weeks, we have had terrible experiences. Last week, there was a 1 1/2 hour wait and they said and hour for food because of a mixup in the kitchen. Well this past Sunday we went and it took forever to get food and my steak was way over cooked and I sent it back and our server said we have a 19 year old in the kitchen. I asked if he was a chef or was he hired off the street. No answer. The steak came back over cooked again and my husbands ribs were over cooked and my daughters mini burgers were undercooked and dry no ranch on them. What is going on? We would appreciate anything you can do. They also charged us for everything.
